There's a power outage in North Cambridge this morning, and I have 20 copywriting pages to complete by midnight Pacific time, with Game 3 of the Sox-Angels series thrown in for good measure.
So I am very happy to have the free wi-fi access that is available at my local Boloco burrito paradise in Davis Square.
There are lots of things I love about this place. They begin with the food but they don't end there. They also include the fact that they make it so easy to keep track of the nutritional facts on what I am eating with all the information I need right on their website.
Today, they also include the fact that their free wi-fi bailed me out as I trudge toward tonight's copywriting deadline.
Full disclosure: while I was typing this I was also having a conversation with the general manager of this store on Elm Street in Davis Square, Sal, and he brought me over a coupon for a free breakfast burrito. But he doesn't know I am writing this, and I was writing it before he brought me the card, so isn't that like a blind burrito trust?
I will definitely have the breakfast burrito sometime soon. But just now, for lunch, I had the cajun chicken burrito. Pretty tasty. About 600 calories, I think, toward today's daily count of 1750. I'll check later.
Sunday's sound track
Back home and down to work this morning after a nice day on the road yesterday, and looking forward to chillin with Danny and watching the Sox this afternoon.
A sound track for Friday
Here's a song from lovely Joni to my lovely daughter Kippy in California. Congratulations on the new film gig!
