I am away from home for this Memorial Day, yet blessed to be with, and near, my loved ones.
I am keeping on, keeping on with the trivial concerns of BMGS 2.0. I am away from my scale, but keeping faith with it. Yesterday I went for a nice walk by Spy Pond, among the babies and the dogs and the healthy people, and it was good. We shopped at Trader Joe's and had sushi, salad and strawberries for dinner, then peanut butter on Rye Krisp with orange juice for breakfast. I'll go for a walk later, since the gym and the pool are closed for the holiday.
Have a meaningful but regenerative Memorial Day. And never lose sight of the awesome and terrible cost of war in blood and in the destruction of the human heart.
